Mia Fiona Kut is an actress and filmmaker born in the rural suburb of Richmond, BC. Ever since her gender-bending role as ‘The Deranged Man’ in a 2nd grade play in which she also wrote, her passion for storytelling has fuelled her versatile abilities in acting; and all areas of filmmaking, including writing, directing, producing, and editing.

Most recently, her web series ‘IVY TOWER’ has been chosen as an Official Selection in the 2014 LA WebFest, and she has appeared on City TV's sitcom 'PACKAGE DEAL' and an anti-bullying commercial for CBC. Currently, she is filming a supporting role on the international arthouse feature film 'FLOATING AWAY' and was chosen as one of the Top 30 Under 30 Youth for the Richmond Review.

Mia is a former ballet dancer, and enjoys photography, snowboarding, and kayaking. She plays the piano as well, adapting her diverse poetry and short stories into songs. She is also part of national theatre troupe Justice Theatre which performs to audiences in schools all across Canada.
